Welcome to the Tutorials

This series of teaching programmes is intended for use by students of architecture as a part of their undergraduate or Diploma studies. It comprises 14 programmes that introduce key aspects of statics and structural design, sufficient to enable you to understand basic principles of analysis.

The programmes complement the Architectural Teaching Resource Studio Guide produced by the Steel Construction Institute and Corus. The suite is based on material developed by Geoffrey Bennett of Oxford Brookes University and converted to an IT environment by Professor Ray Ogden, Badrinarayanan Vijayakumar and Shibu Raman. The project was hosted by SCI under Graham Couchman and funded by Corus. If you have any observations on the material, please e-mail Prof. Ray Ogden.
